The competition aims to promote innovation through the intersection of Esports and Edutainment. By facilitating collaboration and communication between students and teachers, we encourage the creation, development, and showcasing of achievements. Our sports-like challenges are designed to enhance self-confidence and collaborative computational thinking skills, while also fostering interest and engagement in STEAM learning. This competition offers the perfect balance between fun and education, making it the ultimate sport for creative minds and teamwork. Participants are challenged to develop and practice their skills in a limited amount of time, with limited resources and rules, all in preparation for a sports game against like-minded competitors.
“AI Everywhere Robotics Esports Invitational 2024 (GBA)” invites participants to embark on an exciting journey of exploration, learning, and competition in the captivating fusion of edutainment and cutting-edge technology. This year, the event will coincide with CYBERPORT’s Annual Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF) 2024. This invitational competition provides an opportunity for students to delve into the application of innovation and STEAM learning through utilizing and navigating robot technology.
The competition consists of three major tournaments students can enroll. The separate tournament themes include: Sea, Land, Air (SLA), which each team is welcome to register for more than one. Each theme tackles and explores a distinct areas in which AI technology progresses in development today. We hope through broadening student’s exposure to multiple fields of AI usage, they may develop a deeper, more comprehensive understanding to the creativity and potential within AI technology.

This exciting competition implements AI elements such as Computer Vision (CV), accelerated by Intel OpenVINO, and AIGC enabled by Intel Hardware (HW) and Software (SW). We look forward to hosting this competition to encourage student and teacher participation, allowing them to enjoy and discover the excitement of AI Robotics Esports through STEAM education.
